I love watching them make their matcha! Its an inspiration on how to make my own at home with my own ingredients. Its great technique! Cute spot but it is very small! Being great quality and service will bring high demand. Hopefully can think of a better line operation! But its nice and clean with great natural lighting!

I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon during my Columbus visit in late April 2026.. I ordered the Einspanner Matcha Latte ($7.50) which contains vanilla cream top, matcha, and milk. I choose oat milk which is an extra 0.75 cents. The Einspanner Matcha was a refreshing iced drink and it was not too sweet at all. They offer all sorts of matcha drinks from original matcha with just water, classic strawberry and lavender matcha latte, etc. Service was quick and efficient. They sell some merchandise (hats and sweatshirts). The price ranges from $5.50 to $7.50 which is standard for Matcha across the country. Their ceremonial grade matcha is directly from Japan and I could taste it in the quality. Atmosphere is chill and it is a very small cafe with only 2 tables and 2 chairs at each table. This matcha cafe is more of a grab and go spot. So, come on in, grab a drink, and take a walk along OSU’s campus with your drink in hand (which is exactly what my friend and I did). I’ll certainly be back.

The space is really cute, but the matcha didn’t live up to how good it looks. I ordered a matcha latte with agave, while you can taste the matcha (they use 4g), the flavor isn’t very strong. It lacks aroma and depth, and comes across pretty light and a bit bland. My bf got the strawberry matcha and could barely taste the matcha, and the strawberry flavor tasted a little artificial. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a GOOD matcha.

Matcha me has become my husband and I’s favorite cafe in Columbus! The Matcha is so good and my husband says the coffee is so really! They have lots of dairy free milk options as well!

As an avid matcha lover, this place is hands down the best matcha I have ever had from somewhere that’s not my own kitchen. We were traveling through and found them on Instagram. It’s safe to say that the drinks are just as good as they look online. I got two flavors, maple cinnamon and salted honey. Both PHENOMENAL. My husband got the seasonal pumpkin cream latte and he said the coffee is amazing. 10/10 recommend!
